The RDS auxiliary fuel tank is designed to feed the main fuel tank of your truck to increase driving range. Long distance drivers all over the world love the RDS auxiliary tank because it allows you to travel further with less stops, save money by purchasing fuel where it is cheaper, and avoid having to navigate a large load into a tight gas station.
The RDS auxiliary fuel tank will mount securely in the back of your truck and then can be connected to your factory fuel system using the RDS gravity feed diesel kit (Not Included).
This auxiliary fuel tank comes with a lockable fuel cap, drain fitting, withdraw and return fittings, safety vent, sight gauge, and internal baffles to reduce sloshing. All RDS tanks meet DOT standards and are proudly made in the USA.

Warning: Proper Use of Auxiliary Tanks
To ensure safety and optimal performance, do not fill your auxiliary tank to 100% capacity. Auxiliary Tanks require sufficient headspace to allow for fuel expansion and vapor buildup. Overfilling the tank can lead to:
- Fuel Leaks: Excess fuel may escape through vents or seals, posing safety and environmental risks.
- Increased Pressure: Without adequate space for vapor, pressure buildup can damage the tank or connected systems.
- Compliance Issues: Overfilled tanks may violate local or federal regulations for fuel transport.
Safe Filling Recommendations
- Fill the tank to 90% of its capacity to allow room for fuel expansion.
- Use proper venting systems and check all connections for leaks before transport.
- Follow all local, state, and federal guidelines for the storage and transport of fuel.
