AMP Research PowerStep running boards are electric steps that fold down automatically when you open a door and tuck up out of sight when the doors close, which keeps ground clearance and gives the truck a clean look. The SmartSeries version adds app control: from the AMP Research phone app you can hold the steps up or down and turn the integrated LED lights (or an extra light on the auxiliary port) on and off, with no manual override switch needed.
